Medical Counselling Committee (MCC of the Director General of Health Services (DGHS) has decided to organize the NEET Counseling 2017 for 15% all India Quota seats. To complete the admission process in around 3850 MBBS and BDS seats in various medical colleges, Organization has organized NEET Counselling 2017 National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET) Exam. Students is massive number are applied for this notification and now they are eagerly waiting for the release of NEET 2017 Counselling Schedule. Students should have completed 12th class / Intermediate from approved board with physics, chemistry, and biology as subjects. They should have score minimum least 50% marks in 12th class and 40% marks in case of reserved categories. Minimum age of the candidates must below 17 years and must not exceed 25 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

NEET Counselling 2017 Procedure and Schedule

  • Candidates should be an Indian Citizen or OCI (Overseas Citizen of India).
  • They should have completed 12th class / Intermediate from approved board with physics, chemistry, and biology as subjects.
  • They should have score minimum least 50% marks in 12th class and 40% marks in case of reserved categories
  • Minimum age of the candidates must below 17 years and must not exceed 25 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission. Upper age limit relaxation of 5 years will be provided to reserved category applicants as per government rules.

ALL INDIA 50% QUOTA SEATS:

Counseling for All India 50% quota seats shall be conducted by Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) of Directorate General of Health Services, Government of India using the result of NEET-PG 2017 for All India 50% quota seats . Please refer to MCC website www.mcc.nic.in for details.

STATE QUOTA SEATS:

Counseling for admission to state quota seats shall be conducted by the concerned States / designated authority / University using NEET-PG 2017 scores and as per their eligibility criteria, applicable Regulations, guidelines and applicable reservation policies. (See Annexure I for State Medical Education Directorates & Offices where counseling related information may be available).

ADMISSION TO PRIVATE MEDICAL COLLEGES, INSTITUTES, UNIVERSITIES, DEEMED UNIVERSITIES:

Counseling for admission to private Medical Colleges, Institutions, Universities & Deemed Universities shall be conducted by the designated counseling authority of these Private Colleges/ Institutions/ Institutes/ Universities/ Deemed Universities using NEET-PG scores and as per applicable Regulations and/or their eligibility criteria, reservation policy, etc (Please see Annexure III for list of Universities offering MD/MS/PG Diploma courses and also refer to MCI website www.mciindia.org for the latest list of Institutions & Colleges running MD/MS/PG Diploma courses)

ADMISSION TO ARMED FORCES MEDICAL SERVICE INSTITUTIONS:

Counseling for admission to Armed Forces Medical Service Institutions shall be conducted by the Directorate General Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS), Ministry of Defence, Government of India using NEET-PG scores and as per their eligibility criteria, applicable Regulations & guidelines. (Please refer to Chapter 18 of this Information Bulletin for further details and also refer to their website http://www.afmcdg1d.gov.in for latest information and updates).

ADMISSION TO DNB BROAD SPECIALTY COURSES (JANUARY 2017 SESSION):

Centralized merit based Counseling for admission to DNB Courses shall be conducted by NBE using NEET-PG scores.

At this step you need to choose the Medical /  Dental college as per your wish. Make the interchanges their options as many possible time before locking because you cannot change the options after locking. Your selection will be displayed on the screen at the end

Round 1- Seat Allotment Process

  • During this process, Seats will be allotted to the candidate as per their choice of selection i.e Dental / Medical

Reporting to the medical/dental college against 1st round of counseling

  • Students those who have completed the NEET Counseling 2017 submit all other list supporting documents and complete the reporting at your colleges
